Trigger Flat™ Worm Green Pumpkin Blue Flake
FLAT WORMS
BUILT FOR FISH THAT HAVE SEEN EVERYTHING.
Thin profile. Subtle action. Maximum finesse.
Baxter's Flat Worms are designed for clear water and pressured bass where less movement can mean more bites. Dropshot them around grass, rock and deep structure or put one directly in front of suspended fish.
Available in: Green Pumpkin Red Flake • Green Pumpkin Purple Flake • Green Pumpkin Magic Flake • Morning Dawn • Motor Oil
FLAT WORMS
WHEN
When bass are pressured, suspended, deep, post-frontal or simply difficult to catch. This is one of the plastics I'd reach for when you're seeing fish on electronics but can't make them commit.
Excellent throughout the year whenever finesse presentations dominate.
WHERE
Deep grass edges, points, rock piles, humps, drop-offs, suspended fish, bridge structure and offshore cover.
Particularly suited to clear reservoirs and smallmouth fisheries.
HOW
The #1 presentation should be the dropshot.
Also useful on a light jighead, hover-strolling presentation or finesse Texas rig.
Dropshot it above the bottom and use very small rod movements. Current, boat movement and the bait's own flexibility can provide much of the action.
WHY
The thin, flattened profile creates subtle movement with very little input. That's exactly what you want when bass have time to inspect a bait before eating it.
WATER CLARITY
🟢 Gin Clear: Motor Oil, GP Purple
🟢 Clear: GP Magic, GP Purple, Motor Oil
🟡 Stained: GP Red, Morning Dawn
🟤 Dirty: Morning Dawn for visibility, but I'd generally move toward a higher-contrast presentation in genuinely muddy water.
Baxter's Tip: If you're dropshotting and think you're barely moving the bait, move it even less.
