Stanley H. Baxter launched Baxter’s Baits in December 2025 after nearly five decades of service to his country and community.
Born in Minnesota and raised fishing from a young age, Stanley carried that passion with him when he moved to El Centro at age 10. After graduating in 1977, he joined the United States Navy, serving 28 years with honor and precision.
Following retirement in Pennsylvania, he became an NJROTC instructor in New Jersey, mentoring young leaders for 21 years. Discipline. Preparation. Confidence. Those principles define both his leadership and his bait designs.
Today, Baxter’s Baits builds tournament-grade jigs and power-fishing systems specifically engineered for New Jersey and Pennsylvania fisheries — clear water reservoirs, tidal systems, pressured lakes, and heavy cover.
