Built to Trigger the Chase.

The Trigger Spin™ series is built around a simple idea: not every spinnerbait should produce the same flash, vibration and silhouette.

🌑 MIDNIGHT TRIGGER™

When They Can't See It — Make Them Feel It

Dark water calls for a different Trigger.

Midnight Trigger™ combines a black/blue/purple silhouette with hammered gold blades to produce vibration, contrast and broken warm flash when visibility is at its worst.

Built for:

Night • muddy water • storm runoff • heavy cloud cover

When subtle disappears, go dark.

Midnight Trigger™ — Give them something they can find.

🎯 WHAT

Midnight Trigger is the maximum-silhouette member of the Trigger Spin family.

Black head • Red eye • Black/blue skirt • Purple accents • Hammered gold blades

Rather than trying to imitate one specific forage species, Midnight Trigger creates a strong moving target.

📅 WHEN

Don't think of Midnight Trigger exclusively as a night bait.

Use it during:

Night: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Heavy overcast: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
After significant rain: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Dirty runoff: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Wind-blown stained water: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Seasonally, it can work almost anytime bass are willing to chase, but its greatest advantage occurs when visibility deteriorates.

📍 WHERE

Start around shallow targets:

Laydowns • docks • riprap • grass edges • flooded cover • creek mouths • current seams • muddy banks • shallow flats

At night, concentrate on areas where bass can pin prey against structure or the shoreline.

🛠️ HOW

Slow it down compared with Shad Trigger.

Let the blades work.

Try:

Slow roll → steady retrieve → bump cover → pause → restart

Keep the bait high enough to avoid constantly fouling bottom but slow enough for the blades to produce a strong pulse.

At night, parallel banks and cover rather than making every cast straight toward shore.

🧠 WHY

In poor visibility, silhouette and vibration become increasingly valuable.

The dark skirt produces contrast, while hammered gold blades create warm broken flash plus vibration.

That's why I would keep this bait dark.

No chartreuse. No white. No need to "brighten it up."

Its job is fundamentally different from Flash Trigger.

💧 WATER CLARITY

Gin clear 8+ ft: ⭐⭐
Clear 4–8 ft: ⭐⭐
Moderately stained 2–4 ft: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Stained 1–2 ft: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Dirty <1 ft: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Night: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Baxter's Tip: After a heavy rain turns a normally productive lake muddy, don't automatically abandon moving baits. Slow-roll Midnight Trigger tight to cover and give bass a strong silhouette and vibration signature to locate.
