⚡ BAXTER’S BAITS MICRO-VIBE™

Finesse Size. Full Vibration.™

1/8 oz • 3/16 oz

Sometimes bass want a moving bait.

They just don't want a big moving bait.

The Baxter’s Baits Micro-Vibe™ takes the vibration, flash and hunting action of a bladed jig and compresses it into a compact finesse presentation built for clear water, pressured bass, smaller forage and tough bites.

Small enough to finesse them.

Active enough to make them react.

DOWNSIZE THE BAIT. KEEP THE VIBE.™

👤 WHO

Micro-Vibe™ is designed for anglers who want the advantages of a vibrating jig without always showing bass the large profile of a conventional bladed jig.

It belongs in the hands of:

Tournament anglers • Finesse anglers • Bank fishermen • Kayak anglers • Clear-water anglers • Smallmouth fishermen • Largemouth fishermen

It is especially useful for anglers fishing heavily pressured water, where bass see conventional spinnerbaits, chatterbaits and swimbaits constantly.

Micro-Vibe gives those fish a familiar combination of:

FLASH + VIBRATION + MOVEMENT

in a considerably smaller package.

🎯 WHAT

The Baxter’s Baits Micro-Vibe™ is a compact finesse bladed jig available in:

1/8 oz

Ultra-finesse • Shallow water • Slow fall • Over grass • Pressured fish

3/16 oz

All-purpose micro size • Longer casts • Slightly deeper water • Faster retrieve

The blade creates vibration and flash while the compact skirt pulses and changes profile throughout the retrieve.

Add a small finesse trailer and Micro-Vibe becomes a complete miniature moving-bait presentation.

This isn't just a lighter bladed jig.

It's a different presentation.

📍 WHERE

Micro-Vibe shines anywhere bass are feeding on smaller forage or where a conventional moving bait feels excessive.

Fish it around:

Grass edges • Submerged vegetation • Riprap • Docks • Laydowns • Shallow flats • Creek mouths • Points • Weed pockets • Rock transitions • Shoreline cover

It can also be excellent over deeper vegetation when bass are positioned near the top of the grass.

SMALLMOUTH

Try it around:

Rock • Gravel • Points • Sparse grass • Baitfish schools • Flats

LARGEMOUTH

Try it around:

Grass • Docks • Wood • Pads • Shallow cover • Weed edges

🧠 WHY

Bass don't always stop eating moving baits when fishing gets tough.

Sometimes they simply stop committing to large profiles.

That's where Micro-Vibe fits.

The smaller package gives bass:

VIBRATION

The blade allows fish to detect the bait even when visibility isn't perfect.

FLASH

Every blade rotation changes the bait's visual signature.

PULSE

The skirt opens, closes and breathes around the trailer.

PROFILE

The entire presentation remains compact enough to resemble juvenile baitfish, small bluegill and other bite-sized forage.

REACTION

Deflect it, rip it free from grass or suddenly change retrieve speed and the bait can dart unpredictably.

Micro-Vibe gives you the attraction of a moving bait without forcing the fish to commit to a full-size meal.

🛠️ HOW

Micro-Vibe can be fished several different ways.

🥇 STEADY RETRIEVE

Cast it out and retrieve just fast enough to keep the blade working.

Excellent around:

Flats • Grass edges • Riprap • Open banks

Don't automatically burn it.

Sometimes a slow, steady retrieve is exactly what pressured bass want.

🥈 TICK THE GRASS

This should become one of the signature Micro-Vibe techniques.

Retrieve the bait immediately above submerged vegetation.

When it contacts grass:

POP IT FREE → ACCELERATE → PAUSE

That sudden burst of movement can trigger a following bass.

🥉 STOP & GO

Retrieve steadily and occasionally kill the bait.

Vibrate → Vibrate → STOP → Fall → GO

The blade attracts the fish.

The fall gives it an opportunity to eat.

⚡ BURN & KILL

When bass are actively chasing small baitfish:

Burn → Burn → Kill

The sudden loss of vibration followed by the falling skirt and trailer can create the strike.

🪨 CONTACT COVER

Don't be afraid to make Micro-Vibe touch:

Rock • Wood • Grass

Deflection changes the bait's direction and momentarily disrupts its normal vibration.

That irregular movement can be the Trigger.

⚖️ WHICH WEIGHT?

1/8 OZ — FINESSE SPECIALIST

Best when you want:

Shallow running • Slow fall • Ultra-compact presentation • Maximum finesse

I'd start here in roughly:

1–5 feet

especially around shallow grass, docks and pressured fish.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Clear water finesse

3/16 OZ — MICRO-VIBE WORKHORSE

Best when you need:

Casting distance • Wind control • Faster retrieve • Slightly deeper presentation

I'd start here in roughly:

2–8+ feet

depending on retrieve speed and trailer.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ General-purpose Micro-Vibe

🐟 TRAILER SELECTION

The trailer is important.

Micro-Vibe works because the entire presentation stays compact.

Keep the trailer approximately:

2.5–3.5 inches

Excellent choices include:

Pintail minnow • Small split-tail • Finesse fluke • Small paddle tail • Compact straight-tail minnow

Your pictured slim ribbed minnow-style trailers are exactly the direction I'd take.

🚫 DON'T OVER-TRAIL IT

Avoid putting a bulky 4"+ swimbait behind Micro-Vibe unless you intentionally want to increase the profile.

A large trailer can overpower the small skirt and eliminate much of the reason for fishing a Micro-Vibe in the first place.

💧 WATER CLARITY SYSTEM

💎 GIN CLEAR — 8+ FT

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+

This is prime Micro-Vibe territory.

Use:

Natural baitfish • Green pumpkin/shad • Translucent colors • Subtle pinks • Smoke • Olive

Favor the 1/8 oz when conditions are calm and fish are pressured.

Long casts.

Natural colors.

Controlled retrieve.

🟢 CLEAR — 4–8 FT

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Possibly the Micro-Vibe's best overall environment.

Natural colors remain excellent, but you can increase contrast slightly.

Try:

Green Pumpkin • Shad • Bluegill • Black/Blue accents • Morning Dawn-style colors

Both 1/8 and 3/16 oz should excel.

🟡 MODERATELY STAINED — 2–4 FT

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is where vibration becomes increasingly important.

Excellent colors:

Chartreuse/White • Black/Blue • Green Pumpkin/Orange • Bluegill • Bright baitfish

I'd lean toward the 3/16 oz and give the bait a little more speed.

🟠 STAINED — 1–2 FT

⭐⭐⭐⭐

Micro-Vibe can still work extremely well because bass can locate the vibration.

Increase contrast.

Try:

Black/Blue • Chartreuse/White • Junebug/Black • Chartreuse/Black

Use the 3/16 oz and keep the blade moving.

🟤 MUDDY — UNDER 1 FT

⭐⭐⭐

It will catch fish, but this isn't where Micro-Vibe has its greatest advantage.

Move toward:

Dark silhouette • Chartreuse • Black/Blue • High contrast

In extremely muddy water, a larger vibrating jig or spinnerbait may give you more water displacement and become the better tool.

🎨 CORE MICRO-VIBE COLORS

Based on the builds shown, I'd establish four primary families:

🌅 MORNING DAWN / PINK SHAD

Clear → Gin Clear
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+

Pink • Pearl • Translucent baitfish tones

An excellent pressured-water option.

🌿 GREEN PUMPKIN SHAD

Gin Clear → Moderate Stain
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+

Olive • Green pumpkin • Pearl belly

This should be one of the strongest all-purpose Micro-Vibes.

🌑 BLACK & BLUE

Moderate Stain → Dirty
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Strong silhouette with subtle blue flash.

Excellent around grass and low-light conditions.

⚡ CHARTREUSE WHITE

Moderate Stain → Dirty
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Maximum visibility combined with Micro-Vibe vibration.

Excellent when bass need help locating the bait.

📅 WHEN

🌱 PRE-SPAWN

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Excellent when bass begin moving shallow but water temperatures still favor smaller presentations.

🌸 SPAWN

⭐⭐⭐⭐

Useful for covering shallow water between bedding areas.

☀️ POST-SPAWN

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

An excellent match for small baitfish and recovering bass.

☀️ SUMMER

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fish it early and late, around vegetation, docks and schooling bait.

🍂 FALL

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+

Potentially prime Micro-Vibe season.

Young-of-year forage is everywhere and bass are actively chasing baitfish.

❄️ COLD WATER

⭐⭐⭐⭐

Slow it down.

The compact profile can remain productive when bass won't commit to a larger moving bait.

🏆 THE MICRO-VIBE ROLE

Micro-Vibe™ fills an important gap in the Baxter’s Baits lineup.

Trigger Spin™
Flash + vibration + traditional spinnerbait profile

Micro-Vibe™
Compact vibration + flash + hunting action

Trigger Glider™
Glide + dart + fall

Drift Trigger Minnow™
Subtle finesse baitfish movement

Micro-Vibe isn't replacing those presentations.

It's giving anglers another Trigger.
