That keeps reviews, traffic and sales history concentrated on one flagship product page while customers select 3.6"/17 mm or 4.5"/24 mm, then their color.

Built for anglers who fish pressured bass, clear water and bottom-oriented fish but want something different from the same worms, craws and creature baits bass see every day.

The 3.6" / 17 mm is the finesse specialist.

The 4.5" / 24 mm is the larger-profile version for anglers wanting more presence, movement and water displacement.

WHAT

The Bristle Beast is a multi-appendage soft-plastic finesse creature bait.

Its numerous flexible bristles independently bend, quiver, flare and collapse as the bait falls, rests and moves across bottom.

It doesn't have to perfectly imitate one specific forage species. Depending on color and presentation, its profile can suggest a:

Crawfish • Hellgrammite • Aquatic insect • Goby • Small bluegill • Bottom creature

That ambiguity is one of its strengths.

WHY

Most soft plastics generate their action when the angler moves them.

The Bristle Beast can continue producing subtle movement when you're doing almost nothing.

Those numerous bristles provide three major triggers:

Movement: individual appendages respond to tiny rod movements and water currents.

Texture: when a bass takes the bait, the flexible appendages collapse into a soft, compact mouthful.

Unfamiliar profile: pressured bass accustomed to seeing conventional worms, craws and minnows are presented with something different.

This makes the Bristle Beast especially interesting when fish are looking at conventional finesse presentations but refusing to commit.

WHERE

Put the Bristle Beast anywhere bass feed close to bottom:

Rock and gravel • Grass edges • Offshore grass • Points • Humps • Drop-offs • Ledges • Riprap • Brush • Timber • Docks • Channel swings • Hard-bottom transitions

For clear reservoirs such as Round Valley and Merrill Creek, I especially like it around rock/gravel transitions and outside vegetation, where the bait can sit almost motionless while the bristles continue working.

WHEN

Pre-spawn: Excellent dragged slowly around staging points, rock and emerging vegetation.

Spawn: Light Texas/free rig around beds and protected spawning areas.

Post-spawn: Excellent around bluegill areas, grass edges and recovering fish.

Summer: One of its strongest periods. Fish it deeper on offshore structure, grass and rock.

Fall: Use it when bass are feeding heavily but become conditioned to conventional baitfish presentations.

Winter: Go small and slow. The 3.6" / 17 mm becomes particularly valuable because very little movement is required.

HOW

Here is where I think the Bristle Beast becomes special.

My #1 Bristle Beast presentation: FREE RIG

Let the weight hit bottom while maintaining enough slack for the Bristle Beast to fall independently behind it.

Then:

Fall → settle → DEADSTICK → tiny shake → pause → short lift → fall again.

Don't overwork it.

The whole point is allowing those bristles to produce movement without making the body jump all over the bottom.

WATER CLARITY

Ultra-clear / 8+ ft: This could be Bristle Beast territory. Start with translucent natural colors such as Crystal Magic™, Crystal Teal™ or Jersey Violet™. Fish the 3.6" slowly with lighter weights.

Clear / 4–8 ft: Natural green pumpkin, olive, smoke and baitfish-oriented colors. Either size works; let forage and fish mood decide.

Moderate stain / 2–4 ft: Increase contrast. Green Pumpkin Majic™, darker GP combinations and Black Widow™ become stronger.

Stained / 1–2 ft: Black Widow™ moves way up my list. The black body creates silhouette while red flake provides intermittent flash.

Muddy / under 1 ft: I'd generally choose a higher-displacement Baxter's bait first. If fishing the Bristle Beast, use the 4.5"/24 mm Black Widow™ and work it tight to cover.
