⚡ BAXTER'S BAITS — TRIGGER SPIN™ Flash Trigger
Built to Trigger the Chase.
The Trigger Spin™ series is built around a simple idea: not every spinnerbait should produce the same flash, vibration and silhouette.
⚡ FLASH TRIGGER™
Wind picks up.
Water gets stained.
Visibility drops.
Make Them Find It
That's when Flash Trigger™ goes to work.
High-visibility color, increased flash and hammered blades create a spinnerbait designed to stand out when subtle presentations begin disappearing.
More visibility. More broken flash. More presence.
Flash Trigger™ — When the water changes, change the Trigger.
🎯 WHAT
Flash Trigger is the high-visibility member of the Trigger Spin family.
Its chartreuse/bright baitfish influence separates it from Ghost and Shad Trigger, while hammered nickel blades scatter reflected light rather than producing one smooth mirror flash.
📅 WHEN
This becomes increasingly important whenever weather or water conditions deteriorate.
Pre-spawn: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Post-spawn: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Summer: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Early fall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Late fall: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Especially good during:
Wind • rain • overcast skies • runoff • rising/stained water
📍 WHERE
Fish Flash Trigger around:
Wind-blown banks • grass • laydowns • docks • riprap • creek mouths • shallow flats • stained-water pockets • current
This should be an especially useful general-purpose spinnerbait for the shallower, more stained lakes throughout NJ and PA.
🛠️ HOW
Cover water.
Flash Trigger isn't meant to sit in one place.
Cast past cover and bring the bait close enough to force a reaction.
Around wood:
Retrieve → contact cover → deflect → accelerate.
Around grass:
Retrieve → touch grass → snap free → continue.
Those sudden directional and speed changes often generate the bite.
🧠 WHY
As water clarity decreases, a purely subtle visual presentation becomes harder for bass to locate.
Flash Trigger increases contrast and reflected light, while hammered blades break that light into multiple flashes.
It bridges the gap between your natural baitfish spinnerbaits and Midnight Trigger.
💧 WATER CLARITY
Gin clear 8+ ft: ⭐⭐
Clear 4–8 ft: ⭐⭐⭐
Moderately stained 2–4 ft: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Stained 1–2 ft: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Dirty <1 ft: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Baxter's Tip: If you started the day with Ghost or Shad Trigger and wind, rain or runoff noticeably reduces visibility, don't abandon the spinnerbait bite—switch to Flash Trigger.
